RESOLUTION NO. 1190

RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE TO CANVASS THE
VOTES AT THE SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 8,
1966.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City
of Elsinore, California, as follows:
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Elsinore
did on the 22nd day of August, 1966, pass Resolution No. 1188
requesting that a special election which was called by said City be
consolidated with the Congressional, State and County election to
be held on November 8, 1966, in accordance with the provisions of
the Elections Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, it would be advisable and advantageous to the
City of Elsinore that the ballots from said consolidated election
be canvassed by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Riverside,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Council of the City of Elsinore do hereby authorize the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Riverside, California, to canvass the
returns of said consolidated election.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Elsinore, California, this 12th day of September, 1966, and
signed by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk this
day of September, 1966.
