RESOLUTION NO. 1300
RESOLUTION BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Riverside
County, California, did by resolution in legal session
assembled on October 27, 1958, abandon a certain county
road known as Kuhns Street, said resolution having been
recorded on October 30, 1958, as Instrument No. 78209 in
the County'Recorder's Office of Riverside County, California,
but reserving to itself existing and future public utility,
public service, drainage facilities and street uses pursuant
to Sec.tion 959.1 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California,
WHEREAS, said Kuhns Street was annexed to the
City of Elsinore, Californi~ and said City of Elsinore did
succeed to the interests of the County of Riverside,
WHEREAS, an application has been made by the
INTER-ALIA CORPORATION, a corporation, for an abandonment
of said utility, service, drainage and other matters which
were reserved,
WHEREAS, the City of Elsinore has determined that
it has no present or future interest in said reserved ease- '
ment rights,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Mayor and City' Council do
hereby abandon said rights and do authorize the Mayor and
City Clerk to execute a Quitclaim Deed to the Inter-Alia

Corporation, a corporation, of all of its right, title and
interest in and to said reserved easement rights which were
reserved by that certain resolution adopted by the Board of
Supervisors on the 27th day of October, 1958.

I, FLORENE MARSHALL, being the duly appointed City
Clerk of the City of Elsinore, California, do hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the Mayor
and City Council of the City of Elsinore, California, by the
following vote:
AYES: Counci lmen: Cartier, Bi ttle, Carter, Perkins, Mayor Chaffin.
NOES: none
ABSENT: none
and do hereby also certify that said resolution has not been
rescinded or amended and that said resolution is in full
force and effect.

CORPORATION QUITCLAIM DEED
FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, the CITY OF ELSINORE, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, does hereby remise, release and

quitclaim all of its right, title and interest in the ease-
ment and right-of-way therein, for existing and future
public utility, public service and drainage facilities and
street uses pursuant,to Section 959.1 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, as reserved and
excepted in Resolution Abandoning County Highway by the
Board of Supervisors of Riverside County, California, a
certified copy thereof having been recocded October 30,
1958, as Instrument No. 78209, to iNTER-ALIA CORPORATION,
a corporation, that property located in the City of Elsinore,
County of Riverside, State of California, described as

"All that portion of Kuhns Street as shown on
that certain map of Heald's First Addition to
Elsinore on file in Book 4, Page 205 of Maps,
records of the Recorder of San Diego County,
California, extending northerly from the
westerly right-of-way line of Railroad Canyon
Road as shown on County Surveyor's Map No. 30-X,
Deed Plat of the Railroad Canyon Road, Riverside
County, California"
on the condition that Grantee pay any and all recording,
stamp or other expenses in connection with the transfer of

Re: Abandonment of easement on Kuhns Street.
The only property owner Involved has requested that the City
abandon this easement so that the pro~erty can be developed.
All utility companies have responded and none object to the
abandonment.
The plot plan showing the area of the easement Is attached
hereto.
The City Attorney has prepared a resolution authorizing the
abandonment and a quit claim deed for transfer of title. ~
Recommendation: That the resolution be approved for abandonment
and authorize quit claim deed be approved.
