RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COliNCIL OF TAE CITY
OF LAI:E ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, SIGNIFYING ITS
INTENTION TO SUBMIT A CLAIM FOR EUNDS UNDEP,
THE TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1971
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO COP'IPLETE
ALL DOCUMENTS TO SUPPORT CLAIMS FOR FUNDS:
WHEREAS, a State Program for local transportation improvement funds
kr.owr. as the Transportation Development Act of 19;1, Chapter 1400,
Statutes 1971 (SB 325, 1971) is being implemented in Riverside County
uader the review of the Southern California Association of Governmants;
WH~,REAS, the Riverside County allocation has been appor~ioned to
provi3e local transportation funds to the City of Lake Elsinore for
Fiscal Year 1974-7.d"in the amount of $30,292.00; and '
Sdf:ERr,AS, the City of Lake Elsinore has substantial need for these
funds for.the planning and demonstration of a local transportation
system.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Lake Elsinore will
actively participate in the program, and requests, in accordance with
Chapter 1400, Statutes of 1971, and applicable Ru1es and Rzgulations,
the payment of funds by the Riverside County Auditor with approval by -
the Southern California Association of Govern,-nents;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVF.D that the City Council, City of Lake Elsinore,
authorizes tha City Manager to act~as representative for the City in
completing a11 documents in support of claims for funds.

I. CONDITION Of APPROVAL: A~proval-of.the ~_
claim and payment by the County Auditor to
this claimant is subject to such moneys
being on hand and available for distribution,
and to the provision that such moneys will be
used only in accordance with the purposes for
which they were approved. The claimant
authorizes SCA6 to directly allocate, where
specified in Section F, to the subregional
agency and/or SCAG, such amount(s) specified
as the claimant's contribution towards the
subregional transportation planning effort
and/or SCAG's regional transportation planning
process. Such authorization applies onTy to
the given fiscal year for which the ctaim is
being filed. The total approved LTF revenues
to be disbursed directly to the claimant
shall be that amount claimed in D, above,
less the amount(s) authorized for subregional
and regional transportation planning. The
claimant understands that in any subsequent
year, SCAG is not authorized to allocate
any of the claimant's funds for such
subregional or regional planning purposes
without the express authorization of the
claimant.
