i RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING APPLICATION FOR `
~ FEDERAL AND STATE GRANTS FOR
' PUBLICLY OWNED WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS
AND PROVIDING CERTAIN ASSIIRANCES ~
BE IT RESOLVED by the Cit Council of the Citq of Lake Elsinore
Governing Board of Municipality
that the

and directed to sign and file, for and on behalf of the
_ Cit- of Lake Slsinore an Application for Federal

Assistance under the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as
amended (33 U,S.C, 1251 et seq.) and any agreements or other documents
necessary to secure and receive a grant under said act and a state
grant under the C1ean Water Bond Law of 1970 and/or 1974 for construction
of wastewater treatment works.
BE IT RESOLVED that the it of Lake Elsinore

• hereby agrees and furtheY does authorize the aforementioned representative
to c.ertify,that if grants for its project are made pursuant to the afore-
mentioned £ederal and state statutes, it' will comply with all applicable
state and £ederal statuatory and regulatory requirements, including but
~ not limited to the Assurances coni:aiaed in the Fede:-a1 Grant Application
and the State Grant Contract, The Freedom of Iniormation Act, 5 U.S.C.
552 as amended relating to the right of the'public to obtain information
and Yecords, The National Historic Preservation Act oP T966, U.S.C. 470
et seq., as amended, relating to the preservation`oP historic landmarks,
The Copeland (Anty-Kickback) Act, 18 U.S.C. 874, 40 U.S.C. ~?76c and
the regulations issued thereunder, 29 CFR 3.l et seq., and ::he Contract ,
Work Hour.s and Safety Standards Act, 40 U.S.C. 327 et seq., and the
regulations issued thereunder.
