A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OE
LAKE ELSINORE ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT OF NOTICE
OE.INTENTION TO CIRCULATE A PETITION FOR THE .
ANNEX2.TION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION
N0. 21 - LINCOLN STREET° AND AN AEFIDAVIT OF
PUBLICATION THEREOF ANA~APPROVING THE CIRCULATION
OF 'IHE PETITION
WHEREAS, on aanuary is , 197 5 , there was filed
with the City Clerk of the City of Lake Elsinore a copy of a
notice of intention to circulate a petition Yelating to annexation
of certain territory to the City of Lake Elsinore, under the
Annexation Act of 1913, peYtaining to Cerritory designated as
"Annexation No. 21 - Lincoln Street", accompanied by a written
statement containing reasons for the petition together with an
affi~iavit of publication of said notice in the Lake Elsinore vaiiey sun
newspaper; and
WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 p~ovides that the
legislative body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt of
the notice and approving the circulation of the petition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Lake Elsinore;
1. That the receipt of the notice, statement and affida-
vit is hereby acknowledged, anithat approval is hereby given for
the circulation of the petition for annexation of that territory
designated as "Annexation No. 21 - Lincoln StYeet", twenty-one
days after the publication of said notice and statement.
2. The City Clerk sha11 certify to the adoption of this
Yesolution.
