VACATION, PROVIDING FOR PUBLISHING AND
THE STREET VACATION ACT OF 19~+1 AS CONTAINED
THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Lake Elsinore, California as follows:
l. That pursuant to the street vacation act of
1941 and pursuant to Section 8300 et seq of the Streets and
Aighways Code of the State of California the,Gity Counci,l declares
intention to vacate a certain portion of Flint Street located
in the City of Lake Elsinore, California and more particularly
described as follows;
"Tkiat portii3n df Flint Street in the City of Lake
Elsinore, County of Riverside as shown on the map
of Heald's Resubdivision Block 78 portion of
Elsinore recorded in Book 8 of maps, page 378
thereof, records of San Diego County and more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 20
Block 78, thence easterly along the northerly
line of said Lot 20, 13 feet to the Point of
Beginning:
Thence northerly, perpendicular to the northerly
line of Lot 20, 30 feet to the centerline of Flint
Street; thence easterly along the centerline of
Flint Street to its intersection with the northerly
p~olongation of the easterly line of Lot 20; thence
southerly along said prolongation of the easterly
line of Lot 20 to the southerly right-of-way line
of Flint Street and the northeast corner of said
Lot 20; thence westerly along the southerly line
of Flint 5treet 137 feet more or less to the true
Point of Beginning"
2. That a hearing is to be conducted on the 24th
day of July , 1g78 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at the
Council Chambers of the City of Lake Elsinore located at
130 S. Main Street, Lake Elsinore, California, at which
time all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation will be heard.

3. Notices of said street vacation shall be posted
conspicuously along the line of the street or part thereof
proposed to be vacated at least ten days before the date set
for the hearing. Said Notices shall be posted not more than
300 feet apart, but at least three sha11 be posted. Said
Notices shall state the passage of this resolution of intention
and the time and place of the hearing. Said Notices shall be
posted by the superintendent of public works and thereafter he
shall file an affidavit of posting with the City Clerk.
4. The City Clerk shall cause this resolution to
be published within 15 days after the passage of this ordinance
at least once in a newspaper by general circulation published
and circulated in the Cit,y and the publisher of said newspaper
shall cause an affidavit to be filed With the City Clerk
showing compliance with Section 36933 of the Government Code
of the State of California.
