A RESO~UTION OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSSN~RE DECLARING
MAY 1, 1979 AS LAW DAY, USA.
WHEREAS, to rededicate the City of Lake Elsinore to
the principals of the democratic form of government; to emphasize
that our government is a government of law and not of man; and
to further the philosophy that "the welfare of the people shall
be the supreme law."
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City of Lake
Elsinore that May 1, 1979 be declared as Law Day, USA.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that t1.ze Mayor`of the.!City`of
Lake Elsinore will issue a proclamation that May 1, 1979 be
declared T,aw Day USA in the City o£ Lake Elsinore.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of the proclamation
be delivered to the public schools and service clubs iri the Elsinore
Valley, request that said schools and service clubs recognize T,aw
Day USA.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of April, 1979.
