A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TAE CITY OF
LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, STATING THE DESIRE AND
INTENT TO ANNEX CERTAIN PROPERTY AND DETERMINE
THE AMOUNT OF PROPERTY TAX REVENUE TO BE EXCHANGED
BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE AND THE CITY OF
LAKE ELSINORE, KNOWN AS ANNEXATION NO. 30 TO THE
CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City
of Lake Elsinore in regular session assembled on December 28, 1982
that:
l. The City desires and wishes to annex that area
designated as Exhibit 1 on the attached map.
2. The County of Riverside and the City of Lake Elsinore
are the agencies whose area of responsibility for
service would be affected by Annexation No. 30 to the
City of Lake Elsinore, designated as Exhibit 1 on the
attached map.
3. An exchange of property tax revenue to become effective
for tax purposes beginning July l, 1980, are as £ollows:
(A) The City of Lake Elsinore shall assume the respon-
sibility for all general municipal services to
the area to be annexed as are required by law or
presently provided throughout the City, and for
such services assumption shall receive 25g of
that portion of the property tax revenue gener-
ated within the territory to be annexed under the
ad valorem tax rate established by Article XIII A
of the Constitution of the State of CaliPornia,
that represents the County of Riverside's share
of such property tax revenue.
(B) The County Auditor shall convert the above estab-
lished percentage figures into actual dollar figures
and thereafter allocate such property tax revenue in
accord with the provisions of Section 95 et seq. o£
the Revenue and Taxation Code.
4. The City Council of the City o£ Lake Elsinore does here-
by agree to the above recited exchange of property tax
revenue.
5. The clerk shall transmit a certified copy of this
resolution to each affected agency and to the Executive
Office of the Local Agency Formation Commission and to
the Auditor of the County of Riverside pursuant to
Section 99 of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of December,
1982, by the following vote:
AYES: KNIGHT, TORN, VALENZUELA, UNSVJORTH
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: MACMURRAY
