A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING TAE CITY'S
MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, it is the policy oi the City of Lake Elsinore to
utilize Minority Business Enterprises in all aspects of contracting
to the maximum extent feasible; and
WHEREAS, this.policy is fully described in the City of Lake
Elsinore Minority Business Enterorise (MBE) Program which consti-
tutes City policy and a.commitment to substantially increase
Minority Business and Female Business utilization. This policy
includes any program or iacility funded wholly or in part by any
U.S. Department of Transportation modal element, through the City
of Lake Elsinore, and
WHEREAS, the City appoints the City Clerk as CQBE Liaison
Officer for the City and shall report to the City nlanager. The
City Clerk will be assigned such staff as is necessary to fully
implement the provisions of 49 CFR, Part 23, and such other MBE
programs as may be required; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with 49 CFR, the City of Lake Elsinore,
its contractors and subcontractors, who are the recipients of
federal-aid funds, agree to insure that minority business enter-
prises have the maximum opportunity to participate in the per-
formance of contracts and subcontractsy
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore
DOES HEREBY adopt the City of Lake Elsinore Minority Business '
Enterprise Program.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of June, 1982, by the following vote:
