A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, SPECIFYING THE
FUTURE POPULATION GROWTH OF TAE CITY UNTIL
TAE YEAR 2000.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore,
California, adopted a Aousing Element on October 27, 1981, in
compliance with applicable state provisions, including the
identification of £uture population growth for Lake Elsinore
in £ive (5) year increments; and
WHEREAS, the projections were developed utilizing
methodology compatible with that of the Riverside County Planning
Department for unincorporated and incorporated portions of the
County; and
WHEREAS the population figures established by the
Southern Cali£ornia Association of Governments reflect upon the
ability of the City and Special Districts to develop and maintain
sewer and water services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council £irmly believes the in£ra-
structure facilities necessary to properly provide for the
future growth of the City will be available in a timely manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ''IT RESDLVED that: °'
The population ~rojections provided as part of the
City's adopted Housing Element, as shown below, and concurred
upon by the Riverside County Planning Department through corres-
pondence dated April 9, 1982, have been established by the City
Council to indicate the five (5) year incremental increases in
growth the City of Lake Elsinore will experience until the
year 2000.
