A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE
ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, SIGNIFYING ITS INTENTION TO SUBMIT
A CLAIM FOR FUNDS UNDER THE TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT
ACT OF 1971 AND AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
COMPLETE ALL DOCUMENTS TO SUPPORT CLAIMS FOR FUND.
WHEREAS, a State Program for local transportation improvement
funds known as the Transportation Development Act of 1971, Chapter 1400,
Status 1971 (56 325, 1971) is being implemented in Riverside County under
the review of the Southern California Association of Governments; and
WHEREAS, the Riverside County allocation has been apportioned to
provide local transportation funds to the City of Lake Elsinore for Fiscal
Year 1981-1982 in the amount of $7,539.00; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elsinore has substantial need for these
funds for the planning and demonstration of a local transpor~tation system;;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Lake Elsinore will
actively participate in the program, and request, in accordance with Chapter
1400, Statutes of 1971, and applicable Rules and Regulations, the payment of
funds by the Riverside County Auditor with approval by the Southern California
Association of Governments.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lake
Elsinore authorizes the Finance Director to act as representative for the
City in completing all documents in support of claims for the $7,539.00 to be
used under Article 8(local streets and roads) of the Transportation Develop-
ment Act of 1971.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of February, 1982, by
the following roll call vote:

AND THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE; KNQWN A$ ANNEX&1TION N0..26 TO
THE CITY OF LAKE ELSTNOR~.
BE TT RESOLVED by the Mayox and City Council of the
City of Lake Elsinore in RE:GUT;P.R SES'S'ZON AS$EMSLED on Eebruary
23, 1982 THAT:
~ 1. The City desires and wiish.es to annex that area
, designated as Exhibit l on'.the attached maps.
2. Tfie County of Riverside and the City of Lake Elsinore
are the agencies whose area of responsibility for service would
be affected by Annexation No.26 to ths City-of Lake Elsinore,
designated as Exhibit 1 on the attacfi:ed map.
3. An excriange of property tax revenue to become effec-
tive for tax purposes beginning July 1, 1980, are as follows:
(A);;The City of Lake Elsinore shall assume the
responsibility for all general municipal Services to
the area to be annexed as are required by law or pres-
ently provided throughout the City, and for such ser-
vices assumption shall receive 25% o£ that portion of
the property tax revenue generated within the territory
to be annexed under the ad valorem tax rate established
by Article XIII A o£ the Constitution of the State o£
California, that represents the County of Riverside's
share of such property tax revenue.
(B) The County Auditor shall convert the above-
established percentage figures into actual dollar figures
, and thereafter allocate such property tax revenue in
~ accord with the provisions of Section 95 et seq. of the
Revenue and Taxation Code.
4. The City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore does
hereby agree to the above-recited exchange of property tax
revenue.
5. The clerk shall transmit a certified copy of this
resolution to each af£ected agency and to the Executive Of£ice
of the Local Agency Formation Commission and to the auditor
of the County of Riverside pursuant°-to Section 99 of the
Revenue and Taxation Code.

I, MANUEL A. REDE, City Clerk of the City of Lake Elsinore,
do hereby certify that the whole number of inembers of the City Council
of said City is five; that the foregoing Resolution being Resolution
No. 82-12, was duly passed and adopted by the City Council of said City
of Lake Elsinore, approved and signed by the Mayor of said City, and
attested by the City Clerk, all at a regular meeting of said City
Council held on the 23rd day of February, 1982 and that the same was
so passed and adopted by the following roll call vote:
