A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE
ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN
ALLEYS AND PORTIONS OF RILEY STREET PURSUANT TO THE
STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941 AS CONTAINED IN SECTIONS
' 8300 ET SEQ OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore
did on January 12, 1982, adopt a Resolution No. 82-3, declaring its intention
to vacate a portion of certain alleys and portions of Riley Street and fixing
a time and place of hearing providing for the publication and posting pursuant
to the Street Vacation Act of 1941 as contained in Sections 8300 et seq of the
Street and Highways Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the hearing was conducted on the 9th day of February,
1982, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at the Council Chamber of the City of Lake
Elsinore located at 130 South Main Street, Lake Elsinore, California, at which
time any and all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation
were heard.
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Lake Elsinore, California, as follows:
1. That on January 12, 1982, the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Lake Elsinore, California, did adopt Resolution No. 82-3 to
which reference is hereby made.
2. That pursuant to Resolution No. 82-3 a hearing date was set
on the 9th day of February, 1982 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at the City Hall
located at Lake Elsinore, California.
3. That notices of said street vacation were duly posted in the
manner set forth in said Street Vacation Act of 1941, and the City Clerk
caused said resolution to be published as provided for by law.
4. That the Mayor and City Council do find, from all the evidence
submitted, that a portion of certain alleys and portions of Riley Street as
hereinafter described, be vacated, as portion of said street is unnecessary
for present or prospective street purposes.
5. That the portion of certain alleys and portions of Riley Street,
hereby vacated, is all that real property located in the City of Lake Elsinore,
California, more particularly described as follows:

Al1 of teh alleys in Block 2 of iAall and Starbird's
Resubdivision as shown on map recorded in Book 10
of Maps, Page 492 thereof, records fo San Diego
County, State of California, along with portions of
public right of way in Blocks 2 and 3 of said Wall
and Starbird's Resubdivision located easterly of 60
foot wide right of way of County Highway Route 11.
6. The city hereby reserves and excepts from the vacation any
existing easements and the rights provided for by Section 8330 of Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California.
7. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this order
attested to by the Clerk under the Seal of the City, to be recorded in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of Riverside, California.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of February, 1982.
