A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA,
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF POE STREET,
FIXING A TIME AND PLACE -0F HEARING TO ALL PERSONS INTER-
ESTED OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION, PROVIDING
FOR PUBiISHING AND POSTING PURSUANT TO THE STREET VACATION
ACT OF 1941 AS CONTAINED IN SECTIONS 8300 OF THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Playor and City Council of the City of Lake
Elsinore, California, as follows:
1. That pursuant to the street vacation act of 1941 and pursuant to
Sections 8300 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, the City Council declares intention to vacate a certain portion
of Poe Street located in the City of Lake Elsinore, California, and more
particularly described as follows:
That portion of Poe Street and t~e all:ey located between
Blocks 4 and 5, northeCly:'of 6Q:fQOt_MiothQr-n S~reet as
shown on the mep of Wall and Starbird's Resubdivi-
sion, recorded in Book l0 of Maps, Page 492 thereof,
records of San Diego County, State of California.
2. That a hearing is to be conducted on the 9th day of February,
1982 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at the Council Chamber of the City of Lake
Elsinore located at 130 South Main Street, Lake Elsinore, California, at
which time all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation
will. be heard.
3. Notices of said street vacation shall be posted conspicuously
along the line of the street or part thereof proposed to be vacated at least
ten (10) days before the date set for the hearing. Said notices shall be
posted not more than 300 feet apart, but at least three shall be posted.
Said notices shall state the passage of this resolution of intention and the
time and place of the hearing. Said notices shall be posted by the superin-
tendent of public works and thereafter he shall file an affidavit of posting
with the-City Clerk.
4. City hereby reserves and excepts from the vacation any existing
easements and the rights provided for by Section 8330 of Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.
5. The City Clerk shall cause this resolution to be published
within fifteen (15) days after the passage of this resolution at least
once in a newspaper by general circulation published and circulated in the

city and the publisher of said newspaper shall cause an affidavit to be
filed with the City Clerk showing compliance with Section 36933 of the
Government Code of the State of California.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of January, 1982.
