RE:SQLUTTON N0. 83-15
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE,
CALIFORNIA DECLARING A LOCAL EP4ERGENCY.
WHEREAS, due to the flooding conditions which have
resulted from severe and continuous rainstorms, the City of Lake
Elsinore is facing unmanageable problems; and
WHEREAS, due to the flooding and associated problems,
a condition of extreme peril to life and property necessitates the
declaration of the existence of an emergency;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of tNe City of Lake
Elsinore does resolve as follows:
l. That a state of emergency now exists throughout
the City, and
2. That during the existence of said emergency,
powers, functions, and duties of the City Council
and the emergency organization of the City of
Lake Elsinore shall be those prescribed by State
law and the Ordinances, Resolutions and approved
plans of the City of Lake Elsinore in order to
mitigate the effects of said emergency.
