RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, SIGNIFYING
ITS INTENTION TO SUBMIT A CLAIM FOR FUNDS
UNDER THE TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT
OF 1971 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO COMPLETE ALL DOCUMENTS TO SUPPORT CLAIMS
FOR FUNDS.
WHEREAS, a State Program for local transportation
i
improvement funds known as the Transportation Development Act of
1971, Chapter 1400,Statutes 1971 (SB 325,1971) is bring implemented
in Riverside County under the review of the Southern California
Association of Governments;
WHEREAS, the Riverside County allocation has been
apportioned to provide local transportation funds at the City of
Lake Elsinore for Fiscal Year 1986-87 in the amount of 51,709
and
WNEREAS, the City of Lake Elsinore has substantial need
for these funds for the planning and demonstration of a local trans-
portation system;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Lake Elsinore
~ill dctively participate in tEie program, and request, in accordance
wit6 Chapter 1400, Statutes of 1971, and applicable Rules and
Regulations, the payment of funds by the Riverside County Auditor
with approval by the Southern California Association of Governments;
BE IT FURTNER RESOLVED that the City Council, City of Lake
Elsi;nore, authori:zed the completing all do~uments in support of claims
for th.e $51,7Q4 to 6e used under Article 8(local streets and roads)
of the Trans~ortation Development Act of 1971.
