A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE '
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A
PORTION OF OLD COLLIER AVENUE, STREET ',
ABANDONMENT 86-1, FIXING A TIME AND PLACE ',
I OF HEARING TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED OF ~
OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION, I
PROVIDING FOR PUBLISHING AND POSTING
PURSUANT TO THE STREET VACATION ACT OF
' 1941 AS CONTAINED IN SECTIONS 8300 OF
' THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE
I STATE OF CALIFORNIA. I

BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council o£ the '
, City of I~ake ~lsinore, Cali£ornia, as follows:
1. That pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941 and
pursuant to Sections 8300 et seq of the Streets and High- '
ways Code of the State of California, the City Council ',
declares its intention to vacate a certain portion of !
Old Collier Avenue located in the City of Lake Elsinore,
, California, and more particularly described as follows: '

That portion of Collier Avenue adjacent to Lot 10 '
in Block "A" o£ Subdivision of Elsinore, as shown by ',
Map on file in Book 8, Page 377, in the o£fice of the ,
I County Recorder, County of San Diego, California.
2. That a hearing is to be conducted on the llth day of ',
i March, 1986, at the hour of 7:00 p.m. at the City Council '
'I Chamber of the City of Lake Elsinore located at 130 South
Main Street, Lake Elsinore, California, at which time all '
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation
will be heard.

3. Notices of said street vacation shall be posted con- ~i
spicuously along the line of the street or part thereof
proposed to be vacated at least two (2) weeks before the ,
' date set for the hearing. Said notices shall state the
i passage of this resolution of intention and the time and I
I place of the hearing. Said notices shall be posted by I
the superintendent of the Public Works and thereafter he ~
shall file an affidavit of posting with the City Clerk. '
Notices of said vacation shall be published as required
, by Section 8320 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of Cali£ornia. I

4. City hereby reserves and excepts from the vacation
any existing easements and the rights-of-way as required
by Section 8330 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California.
5. The City Clerk shall cause Notice of the Hearing on
this resolution to be published for at least two successive
weeks after the passage of the Resolution, and prior to the
hearing in a newspaper of general circulation published and
circulated in the City and the publisher of said newspaper
shall cause an af£idavit to be £iled with the City Clerk
showing compliance with Section 36933 of the Government
Code of the State of California.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of February, 1986,
upon the following vote:

ABSENT: NONE
