A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO VACATE A STREET EASEMENT
AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore has
determined that a certain street easement is no longer necessary
to be utilized as a public right-of-way, said easement being more
particularly described as follows:
All that portion of Parkway (60 feet wide) in
the City of Lake Elsinore, County of Riverside,
State of California, bounded on the East by the
Westerly line of Avenue 9 as shown on the map
of Elsinore Heights Tract Unit No. 5 as per map
recorded in Book 12 Page 95 of maps in the Office
of the Recorder of said county and bounded on the
West by the following described line:
BEGINNING at the centerline intersection of Avenue
6(60' wide) and Parkway (60'wide) as shown on said
Elsinore Heights Tract;
THENCE, along said centerline of parkway North
89z 24' 44" East 234.48 feet;
THENCE at right angles and leaving said centerline
North 0°35' 16" West 30.00 feet to the beginning
of a curve concave to the North having a radius of
100 feet;
THENCE Easterly along said curve through a central
angle 10° 14' 12" an arc length oP 17.87 Peet;
THENCE tangent to said curve North 79 10' 32" East
41.04 feet to the beginning of a curve concave to
the Southwest having a radius of 70 feet;
THENCE along said curve through a central angle of
10° 31' 17" an arc length of 122.81 feet to a point
on the South line of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 9,
T6S, R4W, SBBM, a radial line through said point bears
North 89° 41' 49" East.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore
desires to vaoate said easement pursuant to the procedures set
forth in Streets and Highwavs Code Section 8320, et sea•,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lake Elsinore as Pollows:
1. That the foregoing recitals are true and correct.
2. That the 24th day of November, 1987 at 7:00 p.m. is
hereby set as the time and date for a public hearing on the matter
of vacation of the above-described street. Said public hearing
shall be held a the City Council Chambers located at 130 South Main
Street, Lake Elsinore, California.
3. This Resolution of Intention shall be published one (1)
RESOLUTION NO. 87-61
time per week for at least two successive weeks prior to said
public hearing and shall be posted at least two (2) weeks prior to
said hearing, pursuant to Streets and Highways Code, Section 8323.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this lOth day of November,
1987, upon the following vote:
