RESOLUTION N0. 87-42
' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
' OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, REPEALING
' RESOLUTION NOS. 86-45 AND 87-17 REGARDING
' COMPENSATION AND SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS FOR
I PROFESSIONAL/ADMINISTRATIVE EMPLOYEES OF THE
CITY AND ADOPTING REVISED COMPENSATION AND
' SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS FOR SAID EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, Section 37206 of Government Code of the State of California
required the City Council to prescribe the time and method of paying salaries
II, and wages of officers of the City; and,
' WHEREAS, the City Council authorized and directed under the provisions of
i the Personnel System Rules and Regulations, the preparation of a compensation
I plan covering all classes of positions in the competitive service; and,
WHEREAS, the City has met and conferred with representatives of the
I~ Professional/Administrative Bargaining Unit regarding these and other
, conditions of employment; and,
' WHEREAS, the City now wishes to establish a compensation and supplementary
benefits plan for said bargaining unit.
, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOWED that the City Council of the City of Lake
' Elsinore hereby finds, declares and determines as follows:
' 1. That Resolution No. 86-45 and 87-17 are hereby repealed.
2. That the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City and the
~ Professional/Administrative Employees dated June 12, 1987 , is hereby
approved.
3. That the classes of employment and salary ranges for all
, Professional/Administrative Employees of the City for Fiscal Year 1987/88 shall
' be as set forth in Exhibit "A" of said MOU.
4. That the salary schedule for said ranges shall be as set forth in
' Exhibit "B" of said MOU.

Professional/Administrative Employees bargaining unit shall be adjusted on I
January 1, 1988, as prescribed in Paragraph C of Article 1I of said MOU. I
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of June , 1987,
on the following roll call date:
