Home My WebLink AboutCC Reso No 1988-26RESOLUTION N0. 88'26 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, REPEALING RESOLUTION N0. 87-17 REGARDING COMPENSATION AND SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS FOR PROFESSIONAL/ ADMINISTRATIVE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY AND ADOPTING REVISED COMPENSATION AND SUPPLEMEN- TARY BENEFITS FOR SpID EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, Section 37206 of Government Code of the State of California required the City Council to prescribe the time and method of paying salaries and wages of officers of the City; and, WHEREAS, the City Council authorized and directed under the provisions of the Personnel System Rules and Regulations, the preparation of a compensation plan covering all classes of positions in the competitive service; and, WHEREAS, the City has met and conferred with representatives of the Professional/Administrative Bargaining Unit regarding these and other conditions of employment; and, WHEREAS, the City now wishes to establish a compensation and supplementary - benefits plan for said bargaining unit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore hereby finds, declares and determines as follows: 1. That Resolution No. 87-17 is hereby repealed. 2. That the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City and the Professional/Administrative Employees dated June 28, 1988 , is hereby approved. 3. That the classes of employment and salary ranges for all Professional/Administrative Employees of the City for Fiscal Year 1988/89 shall be as set forth in Exhibit "A" of said MOU. 4. That the salary schedule for said ranges shall be as set forth in Exhibit "B" of said MOU. 5. That the salary ranges for all classes of employment in the Professional/Administrative Employees bargaining unit shall be adjusted on January 1, 1988, as prescribed in Paragraph C of Article V of said MOU. The first two digits are listed in the first vertical column on the left and the third digit is listed horizontally across the top of the matrix and identifies the appropriate column. This three-digit range number locates "A" step of the range. Steps B, C, D and E are found in that column directly below "A" step. EXAMPLE: "A" step of range 324 is found to be $1062 by moving down the left column to the number 32 (the first two digits of the range number), then horizontally to column 4(the third digit of the range number).
