The Board's attention was then .called to thc~matter of making pur-
chase of.gasoline :in larger quantitiea,b ecause of tP.e saving to the City
over purchases of`~10 OO Coapoh Books es in the past.. .After du® conaider-

at ion of the,matter,,~it was then moved by Trustee E. A. Bacon and seconded by
Trustee J. H. Ball that M. Harmon and.. A. G. Barber be authorized to make
necessary arrangements for storage and ,to purchase ~asohne in 100_to 200
~sllon lots. ~ .
Upon vote motion unanimously carried,.
The matter relative to the recant cut in salary of M• Harmon, 'Rater
Superintendent, was then .called to the B oard's Attention and .after due con-
siderati~in, it was moved by Trustee Amelia D. Reed end aeccnded by Trustee
E. A. Bacon, that the salary of M. Harmon yfater Superintendent, be raised from
X125.00 to X150.00 per month,
Result of vote on motion was as follows:
Ayes: Trustees C. F. Bair, L. B. Taylor, E. A. Bacon,
J. A. Ball and Amelia D., Aeed,
Noes: None.
Absent: Nona.
A Petition for a. street light to be placsd at the corner of Pottery
and Lowell Streets was then. presented to the Board.

Upon motion duly made_and carried, the matter was referred-to the
Street Committee eith authority to aet.

P.eaolution #143 being a r®soluticn of the Board of '14~uatees,,authcr-
izing President L. B. Taylor and City Clerk C. J. Ka,lina to execute e
contract on behalf of the. City of Elsinore with Claude ~ isher for the
constnzcticn of one Cancrete:Sewage Purificaticn 7~nk (Imhoi'f Type)
was then read,
On motion by T ruetee E. A. Bacon and secondad by Trustee J. H.
Hell, and .upon vote unanimously carried, Besolution #143 was passed '
and adopted as read,
M. Harmon, Water Superintendent then dacusse~ with the Board the
advisability of securing a water pump for uae in making repaira on
broken-water lin.es.,_and advised that he could secure the use of such
e pump from C. F. Miller by paying the.transportation-charge on same here.
Whereupon it was moved by E._A. Bacon and saconiad by J. H. Boll
that Mr. Harmon be authorized to secure ee.id pump from Mr. Miller aid
thst transportation charga be paid by the City,
Upon vote; mot ion..unanimously -carried.
Bills as audited by the Auditing Committee were then,pressnted
to the Board and on motion duly mad® were ordered paid and the Clerk
-was instructed to issue. warrants in payRnent of same,
Thereupon there being, no furthor business to. come before the
Board> on motion duly made and carried,_the Board adjourrad to most
