MEETING HELD ON THE 15th
DAY OF JUNE 1',x25 19
A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees cf the Cit; of Elsinore
was held in the City Hall on the above date.- 'kie meeting was called to cr-der
et the hour of 7:30 p.m. President L. B. Taylor in the chair. Trustees
E. A. Bacon, V.'. P. McSwain, J. P.. Bell and finelia D. Reed answered the roll ciiT.
Absent: None.
Minutes of the previous meeti~~g held on June $th were then read by
the Clerk and on motion duly made were approved es read.
Communications Pram Rev. Winder and P.ev, w'lalen to the Board of
Trustees relative to the proposed change in Crdinance regulating dancing in
the City of Elsinore, was then xead by the C1erY. and after due consideration
of same, it was ordered by tkre Board that Ordinance DIo. 162 regulating the
matter cf Public Dances in the .City of Elsinore, be allowed to stand without
change or amendment.
Thereupon, it was moved by Trustee J. H. Bell and seconded by Trustee
TN. P. McSwei.n and on vote unaimously carried that the Clerk be instructed to
notify Chief of Police A. G.Barber that it is the pleasure cf the Board that
Mr. Harmon be relieved of his appointment. as Deputy Police and. that he teke
up his badge of office.
Thereupon the Board's attention was called to certain drngerous-
crossings ir. the. City a.nd after due consideration of same, it was moved by
Trustee J. H. Bell and seconded by Trustee E. A. Bacon that Chief of Police
S. G. Barber be instructed to have "SLOW" signs painted on thr pavement at the
intersection of Sumner end Spring Streets,. Main and ,raham, Graham-and gpring,
and Plain end Limited Streets. Upon vote, motion carried.
Thereupon, Ordinance No. 179 being wr ordinance regulating the
hanging, construction, erection •nd alteration of Signs in the City of Elsinre
wes introduced and read, and. upon motion duly made was pe.reed and adopted
by the following vote.
Ayes: Trustees L. B. Taylor, J. H. Bell, E. A. Bacon, 7P. P.
PdcSwai.n and Amelia D. Reed.
Noes: None
Absent: Pdone
Bills as audited end ellowed by the auditing Committee vrore t hen on
motion duly made and carried, ordered paid b y the Board and the Clerk wes
inatractedto issue warrants in payn;ent of same.
T.~ereupon, there being no further business to come before the
Board on motion d;ly made and carried, the Bard adic;rned to meet in regular
session on Monday June 22nd at the hour of 7:30 p.m, in the City Hall, the
usual meeting place. ,,
