The Clerk then read a ccinmuriicetion to •the' r~ o'ard of Trustees
from A. Ballent~ne, Proprietor of the Club Inn, in which he celled the Bta'rd°s
'~ attention to ;the. violatxon:cf''=Dunce Ordina~ice at the' Brerxiecke Dance Pavillian
on Sunday, 'May 10th;"and asked that°some ac`tion•be taken ~'y the',.Beard in the

The matter was referred to the Chief of Police"with instrixetions
that'he°inform the management'`bf the dance pavillioil-relative to the p ovis-

A communication from F. B Klarer asking for Board's permit to
cut down a pepper tree located or. corner of Main ~ Y4ashington Sts. wasthen
:.,read by the Clerk.
~._ .:14riereupon, motion eras duly made and seconded and unanimously
carried that permit be granted Mr. Klarer to cut down and move said pepper
tree, end Chief of Felice A. G. Barber be instructed to notify t,'s. Klarer
to this effect.
A resolution adopted on Pday'8; 192§ by th!e Lynn tort Post No,200
American Legion," Elsinore Cslif<, and addressed to the Board of Trustees
was then read by the Clex•k and. after .due consideration, the !%terk was in-
structed. tc answer the American H~egion advising that an investigation. would
be made of the matter referred to,
A Petition filed with the Clerk, si¢ned by forty six residents
of '~sinore, asking the Board for removal from office of A. G Barber,
Chief .^f ?dice, was then read by t'.:e Clerk,
Board's aetion on the matter was postponed for further investi-
gation. _
Resolution passed end adopted by the Tax Foyers' League and
filed vrith the Ciiy Clerk for reeding before t:e Board, was then read and
upon due consideration, it was ordered that tyre ^ lark be instructe;.' to
advise the Tax Payers' League that said ftesoiut=cn vvu'_S °Peoive tiae Board's
attention, and that ar^ecer to dame would be publisixed in due Eime in the
Elsinore Valley Pre.^-s.
