_- A discussion was then had. relative to the matter of the Treasurers Bond, and after due
~~conside'r~ata0.h,-~~was'moved by Trustee J. H. Be11 and seconded by W. Y. McSwain, and upon vote
unanimously carried that the Treasurer's Bond be reduced from X10,000.00 to ~§,000.00, The Clerk
was then instructed to draft a resolution to this effect.
The questian relative to the closing of a~certainpo}rtion of Langstaff Street was then-
brought up for the Board's consideration, and after some discussion on the matter it was ordered
that the chair appoint a Committee to make an investigation of the feasibility of closing a partian
of Langstaff Street.
The Ghair appointed J. H. Bell, E. A. Bacon and W. P. McSwein on this Committee with
instructions; that they .report at the next regular meeting. of the Board,
The matter relative to the City entering into a contract for the purchase of three
electric ,signs' to be `hung over;^the' hipheaays 1e~ding .ihtc thci,'City.. of- El"sihora'=yeas-'."then brought
up for consideration and cort~r~act, couersng:ead!a:ranssction.was presented to the Clerk for reading,
and after due consideration of sank. it was ordered that the chair appoint a committee to in-
vestigate if feasible locations could be aecurnd for the hanging of their signs without Incurring
too great a cost, to obtain electric service. The chair appointed J. H. Bell, E. A, Bacon and
