The application of Vaughn ?;7ood for the .position of City Engineer teas
then presented to the Board.

Bell they Vaughn y?lodd's application be filed for furtl~a-r consideration.
Unon vote motion carried, ,
Trustee Taylor then reported upon the planting of a Eommunity
Christmas Tree by tla.e former-Park Committee and suggested that it be
- 'fitting notr that the tree -is-living, that the Board take action in d~di-
cating sane,
Gmereupon it tea moved by Trustee Taylor and seconded by Trusts-e
Bel1'that the. Clu^istmas' Tree. plaided in the City Parli be officially. dedi-
Gated and known as Clio Elsinore Community Clzrstr~as Tree and -that a sign
I be placed on sas.e giving the date of planting, etc>.
Upon vote, notion unanimously carried.
pettition duly signed by property oti^mers asking for the installation
of server on Pottery Street from Locrell Street to I~.ohr Street, subject $o
the advice of the City Engineer, eras then presented to the Board aid read,
Thereupon. after some discussion a.nd due consideration of all petition
f i1 ed for the imarovement of certain streets, i-t was rncved by Trustee
Taylor and seconded by Trustee Bell that Fetii.icns filed fo-r the improve-
ment of Pottery Streca, Riley Street and Library Street for the improve-
r.~ent of said streets with side•,ralks, curbs, paving and stirrer; also neces-
sary Crater connections and set:rer replaca;ient, be anp-rocec} and stork ordered
aditie~, t~%hich motion was carried 1;y the follot~aing vote.
Dyes: Trustees Ta?r1er, Grahari, Keck, Bei1 and L'rerett.

Thereupon, it eras moved- byr Trustee Taylor and. ecorded. byr
Trustee hvere.tt .that the Chair .appoint a -tinge for the holding o f a
regular adjourned meeting of the Board to consic.er the appointment of a
City F.rgineer. ,
upon vote moilion carried.
The c'rair fixed Friday December 17th at the hour of 1:30
p.ra. for the adjourned meeting of the ..Board...
The Board then took up the ma-Eter of increase in fees for d-rils ~;,d
fires requested by the Fire .Department and after due consideration of same,
it eras moved by Trustee Everett and'seconded by ^lrustee-Bell .that the .Fire
Dopartmexit be granted an increase frora §O cents to y1.00 for each dri11
at-tonded and from x°1.00 to ?2.00 for first hour at fire and 75 cents to
~1.K0 for each succeeding hour, vrhich motion carried by the follos;ing
vote.
Ayes: Trustees Taylor, Graham, Keck, Bell and werett.
Noes: IQone
Absent.: Tdone.
Bills as audited by the Auditing Cor.mittee e;ere then pre-
sented to iahe Board and on motion duly inado ~.xzd on c211, vote carried.

Thereupon, there being no further business to come before
the Board.; on motion duly made and carried, the board adjcurned to r.:,,et'
