The clack then read a communication to the Board from Officer Lutton advising that ne had reconsidered the ratter of his ;resignation as night policeman erhich c;as recently ,accepted by the Soard, stq.~irg chat he could ac- cepj: a reappointment to the position if tendered to him. _ ,: >:hereupcn, after due consideration of the matter, it ^-as maned by Ts:ustee Taylor,:~nd-seconded by Trustee Evaret'c that Tom Lutton be reappoint- ed to-the position df Night Police, tviiich motion on ca11 vote, resulted as follccrs: Ayes: Trusteos Taylor, Grahan., Kecic, Bell and Everett. Nees: None. Absent: None. The c1e-rk the*_x read a corununication to 'the Board fror,: ~nily Nugford calling attention to the dangarous condition of the street in front cf her property located on Pottery titres-et, and upon consideration it tiaras duly moved axed curled, that said communication be filed. The Street Co:r¢nittee then reported that T~Tr. C eddes 1?ad requested that he be permitted at his ocrn expense to cut do~an hill on Lookout Street in front of his property. Z?hersupon after duo consideration i.t eras moved by Trustee Taylor and seconded by Trustee Bell that tar. The Board then considered tlxe mater of requost made of City En~in- eer tc hand in his resignation, and it eras the consensus of opinion that amply time had been given him to comply t=ith said recuest and as said resignation has not boon filed, it caas rroved by Trustee Everett and seconded by Trustee Ball that the office of City l~'xxginesr be declared vac~.nt, rrl:ieh motion cas carried, by the follocaing vote.. I~~ Ayes: Trustees Taylor, C•.ralxam, Keck, Bell and Everatt. P?oes: None. Absent: None, Thc-coupon it eras moved by Trustee Taylor and seconded by Trustee ~~ Bell that the petition for the innprovement cf Pottery Street be approved.
