Trustees L. B. Tay'lcr, P. C. Graham, r1. G. Keck, J. H. Bell and
G's. L. L+"verett ansc;ered the roll call. -
Absent: None.
The minutes of tke previous meeting held.on b3ov., 10th ~rere then read
by the.olerk and on motion duly made and carried, v,*ere;,approved; a~ read,
The snplication of T. F. Bailey for the positicn of blight Police bras
then presented to the Board.
Whereupon. it,vras moved, by Trustee, Taylor and seconded by Trustee Bell
.that tr. Bailey'sapplication be laid on the table for-further ~orsideration.
Upon vote moticn.carried.
The crritten application.of the Currie Engineering Co; of Alhambra
for the position of City Engineer 4ras then read by the clerk.
Vhereupon after due consideration it Baas moved by Trustee Taylor and
seconded by Trustee Everett that-.the applica•I;ion of the Carrie_Engineering
Co, be laid on the table for further consideration..

Reaburn and Boy+ren Engineering Co, of Los Angeles then presented their
application for the position of City,Engineer in the:form of a; contract cJlrich
Baas read by the clerk.
V~heroupon on motion of<Trustee 7~ylor aixl seconded by Trustee Everett
and upon vote duly carried, said appl9c ation nas laid on the table Fcr further
consideration. - !:"`
Thereupon it eras moved by 1^rustee Everett and seconded by Trustee
Bell that officer Lutton's resignation presented to the Board at a, recent
meeting be accepted and that officer Lutton be requested to serve until place
is filled.
Upon voto motion carried,
Trustee Taylor then called to the Board's attention that he thought
it advisable to call a special meeting of tho Board to consider 97.1 applica-

4?hereupon after consideration of ti7e matter it bras mcved by Trustee
Taylor and seconded by Trustee X11 that the chair set a time for a special
meetir_g of the Eoard to consider applications filed crhich motion upon vote
eras carried.

~~ Whereupon it uvas mcved by Trustee Taylor a.nd seconded by Trustee
Gral.ara that the chair appoint a committee to see Engineer 1.`:i11er regarding

his resignation previously requested.
Upon vote motion carried,
The chair appc:inted Trustee Taylor to sae F,.r: £?filler. -
Upon consideration of the matter of cutstanding registered warrants
against the vuater ftmd it was moved by Trustee Taylor and seconded by
- Trustee Graham-that the clerk be instructed to call in for payment
registered warrants against crater fund to the amouni of X1000.00,
Upon vote motion carried. -
Thereupon-it-was moved by Trustee Everett and seconded by
Trustee Taylor that the clerk be authorized to taY,e care of the crock
necessary in the issuance of 1911 Aet Bonds covering the unpaid assess-
went list fcr the improvement of Spring'axul'other'streats.
Upon vote motion unanimcusly.carri:ed.
Bills as audited by the auditing corflmittee were then presented
to the Board and on motion dulg-made end-on call note carried, were
ordered paid and the clerk was instructed to-issue warrants in payment
of same. -
~ Thereupon there being no further business to cane before the
Board, on motion duly made and carried the Board a,djcurned to meet
-in regular session on'l'Vednesday Nov'24th at""the hour of 9 a.m. in
the City Hall, the usual-meeting"place.
