The. meeting cans called to :order .at the hour of g:arm: ~-pith President A. G. Keck in .the chair. Trustees P. G. G•rahern, A. G. Keck, J. H. Bell and.:'!.r_L. Everett answered the roll ca3.l. Absent; Trustee.L. B. Taylor. :tTinutes of the previous mooting held on Nov. 3rd .core then read by the clerk and on motion duly raado and carried were approvedas:read`,: A communication to the Bard of Trustees frA~t;.the Aeiericaai Lsgicn requesting that they be grantod a special permit tc dance one hour later than the usual time, at their annual danco to be give.. on Ncv. 11th, was thon read by the clerk. Upon due consideration it vaas moved by Trustee Graham and seconded by irustes Everett that the legion be grantod a permit to dance ons hcur later than the usual time at their danca to be given on Nov. 11th. Uron voto mctien carried. The application of J. H. ~?codford for the position of Chief of Police vaas then read by the clerk. ?~dhereupon it was moved by Trustee E verstt and seconded by Trustae Graham that J. H. ti9oodford's application be laid on -the table for further consideration. Upon vote motion carried. The application of 0. 1;i. Sasseen for the position of Chief of Police 4aith enclosed letters of endorsement mare then raid by tha clerk. :thereupon it was moved by Trustee Graham and. seconded by Trustee Everett that the application of 0. *?; Sassoen be laid on the table f or further consideration. Uncn vote motion vas carried. C. L. Wright then appearad before the Board and asked that he be granted a psrmit for the construction of a cement curb along Heald Ave. betwaen li4ain and Spring Streets. Ff_hereupon after due consideration of the matter it cias moved by Trustae ~'?. L. Everett and seconded by Trustee Graham that C. L. bright be grantsd a permit for the laying of a cement curb along Heald Ave. the u7crk to be done subject to the supervision of the City Engineer. U7on vote motion carried.
