F3inutes of the previous meetings hold on Oct. 13th, 20th and. 27th were -then read by'the clerk .zid-on motion duly made acrd-carried, were appro ed as read., The Building Superintendent's monthly report t~ras then read, aidcn motion by Trustee Taylor and seconded by Trustee Everett :ras duly accepted and ordered filed. The Treasurer's monthly repcrt was then presented to the Bcard and ¢r - -motion duly-made and carriedy eras accepted and ordered filed, The resignation of officer Tom Lutton to take effect on iQovember 2lst i+~as then presented -Lo the Board rand upon consideration, :it .cress moved by Trustee. J. ri. Bell and seconded br Trustee ~ylor-that .officer Lutton's resignation'be laid on-the table for further consideration at tiie next regular i~eetiiig of tkre (bard. Upon vote ;notion carried. Clay L. Be-rry's application for the posi-`wion.of -Chief cf Police ~uas then presented to t'ne Board and on rnetion .duly. made.. and carried eras ordered filed x"or future reference. 'J. G: Knox's application for the position of City Engineer 4zas then road by the clerle and upon consideration it mss duly moved by T-ru~~ee Taylor and seconded by Trustee Everett that Diir. Knox's application be-. laid on the table fc-r furi:hsr consideration. Uncn vote motion carried. . Tho Committee Trustees Taylor and Everett appointed to trait:upon i City Engineer :,idler and inform him of tide Ibard recluestinp; his resignation -then repor'ced that l,:~r. lfiller`vws ~a:illing to comely t~aith the Board's :~^e- quest on condition i;hat he rra.s paid in full. all that was due him. After so-ne discussion on the matter, it was moved by Trustee L.
