Minutes of the previous, meeting„held.on Des.;.-21st were-then read
by the clerk, and vn motion. duly.mada_and.carred; were approued.as'read.
The-'clerk then presented;to,the,council.the~complaint;:pf N. L.
Twerett.calling„attention to he bad condition: of `th®`>:"street at 'the, nter-
aecti®n of-Langstaff and.Heald Ave.

The hour of 9sj0 having arrived, beaxig the -time fisted for hearing
of protests to the improvement :of Pottery 3treat and ;other streets, the clerk
reported that bc~t one protest-had been>filed,,whioh-w:is-ir esented to the
Council: and,the,Mayor thereupon called.:upon-any other persona desiring to be
f heard and.-none .answered. -
Whereupon. it eras moved by Councilman L. B.. Taylor and seconded by
Councilman J. N. Bell theta h.eaxing_having Dean had>and all object ons duly
considered, therefore it be resolved that all. .protests.: with relation to
Resolution.o£ intention.~186-be snd are hereby:overruled<~id denied which
motion was carried by the following vote,
Ayes.: Councilmen Taylor,-Bell, Keck,_ Gallagher and Tweed.
Noes: None.
Absent• None.
Thereupon the clerk.preeented to Council Aesolation ~18$ being
a resolution oY the City Council ordering the:. .improvement of Pottery St,
and other. streets being:.that-certai n-work: of improvement described in a
Re solution. of Intention ~1$6'adopted December<7th,-1927;
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Taylor and seconded by-Coon-
clams Ne11 thatc:Resolution ~~1$$ be passed and adopted which motion was
carried by the following vote.
Ayeas Councilmen Taylor,-Bell, Keck, Gallagher and Tweed.

I Absent: None,
Them-upon it: was moved by Councilman Taylor and seconded by Coun-
clman Bell tha~~~the @hief of Police me instructed to file a detailed police
j report to the council the first of each month,.. which motion upon vote was
,i carried.
Bills as audited by. the Auditing,COmmittee were then presented
to the Couneil.attd.on motion duly made:.and on eall.vote.carri.ed, were. or der-
ed paid and_the clark.waa inatriacted to issue_warrante in payment of same.
