A regulzs meet"ing:,of the City Council of the City of Elsinore
was_held on the .above date,,the meeting was called-to-order ~a the hour:of-

The minutes of the :previous. meetings held on ~ugust'171h, 24th
and 31st .and $ep't. 7th, tiErere then read by the=clerk and on motion duly .made :r.
and. carried,,vaere approved as read.
T'r.e clerl: then read a, cbmriunication from J. C. Neblett, Secretary
of the Chamber of Cor.:rn~rce,..soliciting the City Council for a contribution
to a fund to be used"for a pae advertisement of ;;lsinore in the mid-winter
edition of the Los Angeles Times.
Upon due consideration of the matter it was moved. by Councilman
Everett: and seconded by Councilman Graham that the Council appropriate X50,00
to be contributed to fund for page advertisement of Elsinore in the.mia-win-
ter edition of the Times, vad:ich motion.y/zs carried by the following vote;-,_
Ayes: Couna.lmeh Taylor, Graham, Keck, Bell and Everett.
Noes: None,
absent: None.
A letition asking Council to pave and improve certain portions
of Heald, P,iain, FranY,lin, Sumner, Ellis and Chestnut Streets, was then pre-
s sented to Council by the clerk.
whereupon, after due consideration it was moved by Councilman
CTrahatn and seconded by Councilman Bell that sa9d petition be laid on the
table to the next regular meeting of the council wixidi motion upon vote was
unanimously carried.
Thereupon Ordinance 192 amending certain sections of tl~
Building and Zoning Ordinances was preses~ed io the Council upon second
reading for adoption.
wi~ereupcn, it vaas moved by Councilman TayL.-r and seconded by
Councilman Bell that Crdinance jE192 be passed and adopted, which motion was
carried by the following vote:
fiyes: Ccunciln;en Taylor, Grahari, Keck, Bell and Everett.
Noes: None.
Absent: i'dcns.
~~ Thereupon it eras moved by Councilman Ta;.lor and seconded by
E Councilman Bell. that officer Easton be assigned to day duty and that Chief
Billy Frank be transferred to night duty. wherazpon, after cox~iderable

Thereupon, Council's attention was called to the installation ';
of siren at the High School a.nd it was questioned as to its interference ~s

Thereupon, there being no further business to come before the Couneil
on Hot ion duly Hade and carried, Council adjourned to meet in regular session
