A regular meeting of-the'City Cduneil-of the City of EDsinore was. held on the above date. The meeting was called to order at the hour of 9 a.m, with kYayor ,R.: G.> Keck. in the chair. Councilmen Taylor, Graham, Keck, Bell ~~hd Everett ansv~ered the roll call. Absent: None. IRinutes df the previous meeting were passed for reading to the next regular meeting of the council - - Mr. George Briner then appeared before the Council and:..presented for their consideration a set of plans covering the proposed construction of a certain building to be used for a bath house,: and requested that he be granted a special permit allowing him to construct-said building cuth $ inch rile walls. whereupon, after due ednsderation of-said plans-it ivas moved by Councilman Everett and seconded by Councilman Bell that Ftir. Geo. Briner be granted a special permit to construot said proposed building ~~th walls of 8-inch rile which motion vras!carried by the following vote. - Ayes: Councilmen Taylor, Graham, Keck, Bell and Everett. Naest None:. Absent: None. Thereupon, Resolution ~1$1 was:introduced and read, 'being a resolutiotr of the City Council fixing the tax levy-for the fiscal year of ' 1927-28 on-each X100.00 of assessed valuation, whereupon S.t was moved by Councilman Everett and secorrl ed by Councilman Taylor that Resolution 181 providing for the following tax levy on each ~~100.00 of assessed valuation for the year 1927-1928 be adopted... Upcn die3cussion it was the ppinion of Council that it is:advisable to retain the services of a traffic officer: Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Graham and seconded by'Council- ~ man Taylor that F'. H. Easton be empl'oysd fcr a trial period of 30 days as j traffic officer,-to be on draty from 10.a..m. to 10 p.m. and his salary to be fixed at x"125:00 per month, which motion was carried by the fcllowing vote. i Ayes: CouncilmonTaylory Grdham, Keck, Bell and Eserett: !!!I Noes: None.
