The meeting was called to m der at the hour of 9 a,m, with President ;R.. G. Keck in the chair. Trustees L. B. Taylor, P C. Graham, A. G. Keck, J. li.-Bell and W. L. Everett ansvrered the roll call. j :absent: None. ' PIIinutes of the previous meetings hold on IJay 25th and June 1st were then read by the clerk and on motion duly made and carried, were approved as read. The Building Inspector's monthly report for the month of Pday was then. presented to the Board and on motion dzly m de and carried, was approved and ordered filed. The Water Superintendent's report eoering the operation of pumps at water plant for the month of IsAay was. then submitted to the Board and on motion duly made and carried, w as approved and a~dered filed. Whereupon the City Attorney Eugene Best presented Resolution #176 being a resolution of the Board of Trustees, calling upon the. citizens to contribute to a fund of X1000.00 to be paid to tl~ City C1erY. and to be drawn upon on the order of City Attorney Eugene Beat, and t; he a xperxled asm in the opinion of said City Attorney wfill best conserve the interests of the community-in the matter of the allocation of the waters of the San Jacinto River. Whereupon it was moved by Trustee Graham and seconded by Trustee Taylor that Resolution X176 be padded rnd adopted ~~~hich motion upon vote was unanimously carried, Bills as audited by the Auditing Committee were then presented to the Bdard and on motion duly made and on call vote carried were or- dered paid and the clerk was instructed to issue warrants in paymazt of same. Thereupon there being no further business to come befm a the Board on motion duly made and carried,. the Board adjourned to meet in regular session on Wednesday, June 15th at the hour of 9 a.m, in -&e City Ball, the usual meeting place. ~ ~ ~j~ ~ er President
