A regular meeting of the Board of-Trustees 'of the City of E lsinore
was held on 'the aboee date.- The ineeting'vras'calledao order-at the hour of
9 a.m, with President A. G. Keck in the chair.
Trustees L. B.' Taylor; P. C.'Graham, A. G. Keck, and- W. L. Everett
answered-'the soil call J ~ `' •Absent: Trustee -J-. fI. Bell.. ,
Minutes of the two previous meetings were again passed ovor for
reading to the. next:reguiar meeting of_the Board,
The Treasurer s monthly report was then presented,to the Board and
on motion duly made and carried, was approved and orc~.ered filed.
A communication from Chas. J. Rozell making application for a posi-
tion on the Police Department was then presented to the Board, and on motion
duly made and carried, was ordered filed for future reference.
Putrs. Uede Jacobs then appeared before the Board and presented her
claim to ownership of water meter connection upon her property a.nd asked the
Board to reconsider their former action, whereby it was ordered that said
meter was the property of R. H. Kirkpatrick.

Upon due consideration of the matter and a more thorough understand-
ing of the situation, it was moved by Trustee Taylor and seconded by Trustee
Everett that the Clerk be instructed to notify Mr. Kirkpatrickt that the Board
had. rescinded their former action by now ruling that the meter connection
in question is t he property of Mrs. Jacobs and that he be instructed to have.
installed a new meter connection for his property.
Upon vote motion carried,
Thereupon the ward e.fter due consideration doomed it advisable and
for the best interests of the City that the positions of Building Inspector
and Fire Chief be consolidated.
Plhereupon it was moved by Trustee Taylor and seconded by Trustee
Everett that the Clerk be instructed to notify Mr. P.lerrifield who was tempor-
arily appointed Building Inspector to turn over all books and records of the
Department to his off ice.
Upon vote, motion carried.
I Fire Chief Tom Boyle ~xas then called before the Board to consider
~ I matters relating to the consolidation of his position with that of Building
' Inspector.

~Ihereupon it Bras moved by Trustee Taylor and seconded by Trustee
Graham that Tom Boyle be appointed Building Inspector at a salary of ~2§.00
per month, and that he be allotaed a salary of X40,00 per month as Fire
Chief, which motion upmn vote was carried by the following vote.
Ayes: Trustees Taylor, Graham, Keck and Everett.
Aloes: None.
Absent: J. H. Bell.

Bills as audited by the Auditing Committee were then presented
to,the Bcard and om motion duly made and on call vote carried,; were ordered
paid and!the clerk was ;instructed to issue warrants in payment of same..
Thereupon there being no further business to cmee befcre the~Board
;dn motion duly-made 'and: carried.: the Board adjourned to meet in regular
session on V7ednesday, .Nfay,l],th.at he.hour,of 9-aem. is the City Hall, ..the
usual moeting place.
