Trustee Taylor chairr!an of the Fark Cor;vnittee then made report cf
the Coxmnittee's investigations of the-matter critli 'reference to the City Parlc
pnd_ irecomrnended thst the caretaker .be kept at crock..
A full Hoard not being present to ccnsider the Committee's repox't,
it tsras:moved by Trustee Taylor and seconded by ^irustee &;11 that the report
of Park Committee. be laid doer for .further consideration.
Upon vote motion carried.
The .Boerd's attention.vras then called ,to conditions at,the'City's
dump ground-and upon consideration of tine matter, it eras mcved by Trustee
Taylor and seconded by Trustee Bell thst;the clerk be ..instructed to ha-re a
sign prepared fcr posting the ground, yarning t'n_e public against disturbing
the dump or carx•ying array ax,ticles from the ~roun~:.
Upon vote moticn carried.,
The clerk then reported that no acljustmezt had been made of tze
matter regarding ;otter used at the Catholic Church, .

Trustee Taylor then. informed-the Board- that it liad be Q1 re-
ported tc him. that.. the. property ovrners on Pottery. Street betv;een.Liain and Spring
Streets vrere desirous of paving said blocl: and recommended if report true, that
it.be.included in the improver:ont district new under vray.

Trustee Bell that the street Committee be instructed to wait upon the ovrners
of property on said street and ascertain if a majority of.;the ovrners favor the
.improvement of. said street.

The Board then took up and discussed at length upon`the'advisa-
' U,ility of some action being taken to provide other quarters forac ity hall
so that the City's records ti^rould be protected against loss by fire and it
eras the concensus of opinion that immediate steps. should be 'taken to protect
the City's records.
j~Thereupon it was moved by Trustee Taylor ~_d seconded,,by 'Prustee
Bell that President A. G. Keck be authorized to negotiate fcr the rental of
the vacant'Bank Building at a rental of ;;5'.0.00 per month; ~;i7iph motion was
carried by the.follovring vote.
Ayes: Trustees Taylor, Bell and. Keck.
I~IOes: Ilene.
~?bsent: Trustees C raharn and L'verett.
The Auditing Committee.: Trustees. Graham and'Everett being absent
the chair appointed_Trustees 'Skylor and Bell to: act upon.tho_auditing of
bills.
Bills as .:audited were then presented to the ,Board>and-upon
motion duly made and on_calb vote carried; vvere ordered.: paid and the
clerk was instructed to issue vrarrante in pa}nnsnt of same.
Thereupon there being no further business to come before the
.Board, on motion duly.made."and carried, he Board'adjcurned to meet in
regular'session on S9ednesday Jan.:l9th at the hour of 9 a.m._in the. City
Ha11 -the usual meeting place.
