': The Clerk then presented to CourciL the So;.California Gas Co's Britten acceptance of Gas Franchise awarded to them by ordinance rt19u said ndtico of acceptrizee being filed vaith the Ciiy Cleric on Nov. 22ndm 1928. III 4lhereupon it wcs moved by Councilman Langstafr and. seconded by Councilman l~?aes that -the 50 .Calif. Ge.s Co's acceptance of Gas Franchise be approved and cxtdered filed cihich moi:ion upon vo-(;e waa an.znimousl;r carried. The Clerk then presented to Council a comrmxnication from the State Dent. of Public Iiea.ltla. by R. F, Goudy resident engineer with rex"erence to recent inspection of the City's Sewage Plant, calling attention tc cer- tain conditions found and ordering that action be taken to remedy game, either by installation of added equipmetrt or acquisition of more laisd'at the sewer farm; Up On dUe COn3lderat7.On Of 3ald COnn'itunlcation and order 1t SSA S mOVed by Councilman ices and seconded by Councilmen Gallagher that the matter be laid over for further consideration and that the chair appoint a committoe to make an inspection of the sewer plant and to investigate the possibility of acquiring added land adjoining tho farm, rvliicl^. motion 4ras u'_pon vote unanimously carried. Ths Chair appointed Councilman P~:aes, Langstaff and Gallagher to serve on -the Cornnittse. Councilman aces'then reported that ke had been reauested to pre- sent for Councils consideration the matter of a donation to -the Lake Elsinore Yacht Club for the i7aticnal Boat Pace 'und. ~".~hereunon after due. consideratio;: of -t he. matter it was moved by Councilman hangstaff and. seconded by Councilman Gallagher that it be c?u- thorized to grant a x'100,00 donation from the general fund, to the Lake Elsinore Yacht Club, for ''she National Boat Paces to be held in Elsinore on Dec. u-tli ~ 9th, vrnich motion was carried by the follovri±?g vote: Ayes: Councilmen Gallagher, Langstaff, eFaes, and Keck. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman ?'~esner. P.,.
