answered the roll call.

'r;L^^. Kitchell then advised Council submitting sketched designs of
Elsinore Signs and quc-tsd estimated prices on various types and sizes of
letters, and later suggested that they would be glad to work up detailed
plans on various types of signs and submit definite prices en same:whereupon

Councilniā¢ua He 0. Langstaff then brought up for Councils ccnsider-
ation the appoint:..ent of a night traffic officer and recomr.~ended the
appointment of tsrxos Gardner at a salary of {i~5.00 per month.
?Tnerc--upon after due consideration of -the matter it was moved by
Councilman Langstaff and seconded by Councilman vlesner t'rat eimos Gardner
be apiocinted night traffic officer on trial and that ;is salary be fixed
at ~7j.00 per month which motion was carried by the following vote.
Ayes: Councilmen ';;esner, Langstaff, Ieiaes, and i{eck.
Noes: Councilman Gallagher.

The Chair then reported to Council t'rat ,Ir. Funk who holds lease
on sewer farm had asked for three year extension of his leas in consider-
ation of mai;irg certain improvements to take care of Mood waters,. wrhich he
did not feel justified in making on Isis present lease..
?~dkxereupon it wa_s moved by Councilman Langstaff and seconded by
Councilman I~aaes that 1:r. Funh be granted a three year axtensiox: on his
' Lease of seder farm subject to the City Atty's approving opinion as to txe
legality of the granting of a $ year 'terra lease ~rhic'r. xrwtion we=.s carried
