A regular meetingcf the city CcL2.ci1 of the Cityof Elsinore c~as held
on the above date. The meeting was called to order a.t the hour of [j p.m.

?d. H: ~"Iesner, H. O. Langstaff, and A.. G: Keck answered the roll call.

?clinutes of the previous meeting not being prepared were passed for
reading. at the ne:;t regular meeting of Council.
The Clerk then presented. to Council the Bldg. Supt's report for the
month of Sept. vri;ich on motion duly made and carried was accepted and ordered
• p7.aced an file. -
The Clerk then reported that additional sigr_stures secured en petition s'
for improvement of Sumner and Ellis Sts.. had been filed..
1'?hereupon petitions for improvement of Sumner ~ E11is Sts. and Kel-
log St. were again ordered referred to the City Engineer for checking.
The City Engineer upon checking of se.id petitions reported to Council
that with the new s=.gnatures added the Sumner, Ellis Sts. petition was
signed by 61~ of the fronting property owners and that checking the two
petitions as one district the signatures represented 57~ of the prcperty
owners in the district.
Thereupon after further cmnsideration of said petitions it was moved
b,r Councilman Langstaff and seconded by Counci~nan A4aes that the petitions
for the improvement of Sumner Ave. between ?:Pain ~ Ellis St. ar_d Ellis St.
betvreen FranY,lin ~: Pottery St. and Kellog St. between Graham Ave. and i?eald '
Ave, be approve:d and that the City Engineer be instructed to proceed with
the necessary •.vork and that said vrork be done Lander one improvement dis-
trict ir!c1L;ding East Graham 2ve. previously acted upon vrhich motier, was car-
ried. by the following vote.

P,i, Harman Slater Supt. then appeared before Council and made appli-
cation for a grant of two ~~reeks vacation to take effect as soon as all
necessary work c[[as ta':en care of.

Gallagher that Ir., iiarman be granted a tyre vrooks vacation to take effect ar>

unanimously carried.
Plrs. Viola Christie then appeared before Council and complained of
certain of 'rer neighbors keeping crocaing roosters which sho stated wae~.
annoying to her tenants and asked for some relief.
S4here•apor. on motion duly made and carried the matter seas referred to
officer R. S'J. Farrell ;kith instructions that he call upon the parties
corm~lained of and requesi them to abate the nuisance.

Bills as audited by the auditisig committee mere then presented to Council and on
cotion duly-made and on call vote carried were ordersd paid and the Clerk r;as ii1-
structed to issue tfarrants in nayracnt of wane.
Thereupon thore being no further business to ceme Uefore the Council on motion
duly made and carried Council adjoarnc-d to meet im regular session cn iaionday det. lyth
