The letter ras read bgr•the Clerk and on motion duly roads and carried was ordered placed or- fi.Ie. Thereupon it was rjovod by Ccuncilman Gallagher and seconded by Councilman Langstaff that resolution 7201 being a Resolution in the matter of the application of the So. Calif. Gas Co. for a. franchise and aeclering that it is proposed to grant said franchise and privi- lege, be passed and adcpted ~rhich motion c~as carried by the fallowing Vote: - Ayes: Councilmen Gallagher, Langstaff,-Tll~ies, and 1Seck. Council then discussed the matter of rolaying.the cid eater fiine on Peck and i:ellogg Sts. taJhereunon it was moved by Councilman Llass and seconded by Councilman Gallagher that Pd. Harman water S:ipt, be authorised to pur- chase wat^r pipe necessary to relay lines on Peck and Kellogg"Sts., which motion upon vote was carried by the fo1loL,ing vote: Ayes: Councilmen Gallagher, Langstaff, Pdaes, and Kec?:.
