~) A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Elsinore
was held on the above date, The meeting was called to order at the hazr oY
sy/, 7 p.m: with Mayor"A. G. :Keck in .the chair:
` Councilmen H. Gallagher, H: 0 Langstaff, M. Hti Wesne~, L. A. F.
Maes and A G: Keck answered the roil call:
~, Absent: None;
Minutes of the`g~evious me etins`held on Jurie 25~h and July 2nd
were then read by the clerk.
Whereupon it was 'moped 'by Councilman 6tass and seconded by
Couhci7raan Wesner that,the minutes"of the last two meetings be"accepted
and approved as read which motion carried by the following vote:
` Ayea: Councilmen Wesner, Maes and Keck.
Koes: Councilmem Gallagher and Langstaff.
Absent: None. '
Councilmaxt Langstaff then cal Ied Council's attention to the
condition of the rcaf on the old water reservoir, reporting that it was
very much in noed of repair. Whereupon after due consideration of the
matter, it was moved by Councilman Langstaff and seconded by .Councilman
Gallagher that M. Harmon, Water Superintendent be instructed to see to it
that tempozary`repairs oxi the roof of the-old reservoir are made at once,
which motion on vote was .unanimously carried.
The clerk thereupon reported to Council that due Bonds and
I interest Coupons in the total sum of '~14,§00.00 were presented fm payment
.against the 1926 Water .Improvement Bond Fund, and that said amount' was
`about $2000.00 in excess of available `funds in the ;1926 Water Improvement
Bond''Fund, and that some provision would have'to be vade for`the fhll
payment of'Bonda and Coupons due. -
Whereupon, it was moved by CouncilmaL Langstaff and seconded
by Councilman Gallagher that it be authorized that the amount short in the
1926 Water Improvement Sond Bund to make full payment of Bonds ari Coupons
presented, be.drawm upon and paid out o;" the Water Fund; whieh motion was
carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Gallagher, Wesner, Langstaff, Maes and
Keck.
Noes: None,
I The chair then presented for council's consideration the
matter of having the City's street trees trimmed, reporting that it was
( in favor of having the work done,
I Whereupon after some discussion on the matter, it was moved by
Councilman. Maea and seconded by Councilman Wesner, that it be authcrized
to have the street trees :t$m trimmed where necessary, also topped where
dangerous and that the work be referred to the street m mmittee fcr super-
-- vision which motion was carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Gallagher, Wesner, I~taes, Langstaff

The clerk tnen presented to the Council a. petition for the
improvement of Chestnut Street between Peok~and E. Heald Avenue,
t.-_ and upon checking said petition the signatures favoring the improvement not
'' representing a majority frontage, tl-e petition v/as ordered 2aid_over
for added=signatures:
Council then took up for further consideration the petition
on fide for the improvement of Peck Street, 150 feet East of Chestnut
Street: Whereupon it was moved by Councilman E3aes and seconded by
Councilman Wesner that the Petition filed for the improvement of Pedc
Street for a distance of 150 feet East of Cheatnut_Street be approved,
and that said petition be raferred to the City Engineer with instructions
to proceed with tho necessary vrork, which motion carried by the following votte:
Ages: Councilmen Gallagher, YVesner, Maes, Langstaff and Keck,
Noes: None.

The clerk than presertzd to the Council a m~ of Country,
Club Heights Unit C. for their approval and accep ance.
Whereupon i't was moved by u`ouncilma:Wesner and seconded by
Councilman tdaes that Map of Country Club Heights Unit C, be`approved and
accepted which. motion upon vote was unanimously carried.
Bills as audited by the Auditing Committee were then pre-
sented to the Council „and on motion duly. made and on call vote carried,
were ordered paid .and she clerk was instructed to issue warrants in paarment
of same.
Thereupon`.there being no further business to come before the
Council, on motion duly-made and carried, Council adjpurned to meet in
regular session on t$onday, July 16th .at the hour of 7 p.m., in the City
Hall, the usual meeting place.
