Yhereupon it was moved by Cound lman Gallagher •an d; aecond'ed by Coun- cilman HIaes that Ordinance #195 be Fa seed to its second reading, whic& motion upon<vote was unanimously carried: -"- "- >CaunciF then took-up for-consideration-the matter of a possible> `' change in the Ordinance, which provides for and regulates the cleaning up of<' City lots from weeds, grass and rubbish, and after considerable discussion pf the matter it was,duly moved `and' carrisd:thatithe'matter be laid"over to the next meetng'of .the Counoil, - -• Petition for the improvement of Fack Street from 'the Westerly , aide of Chestnut Street a d for a distance of 150 feet beyond Chestnut signed by Mr. G. Z. Hess was then presented to Council for. their consider- ation. _ _. Whereupon after due consideration of said petition, it was duly moved and carried that it be laid over for further investigation. Bills as audited by the Auditing Committee were then presented to Council and on motio}t dulp *.nade and on cell vote carried were ordered paid and the clerk .was instructed to issue warrants in payment of same.
