Whereupgn,it was moved by Councilman Gallagher .and seconded by Councilman, Van Houton:that the .appointment of a night police be laid over to-the. next. regular. meeting of the Counoil, which motion upon vote was unanimously carried. The clerk then presented to the Council the bids of the.Elsinore ..State Bank and the First National Bank of Elsinore on the deposit'of the City's inactive funds for a term deposit of four months lbm EF.ar. let to July 1st, the Elsinore State Bank sdbraitting a bid of 4.2 per cent and the First National Bank a bid of 4 per cent on a term deposit of: four months. Y9hereupon it was moved by Councilman Taylor and seconded 6y Councilman Bell that the Elsincre State Bank being the highest bidder;: that council. recommend to City Treasurer the transfer of the City's inactive Sunds-to deposit in the Elsinore State $ank for a term deposit of four gtottths from-kar. 1st to July 1st 1928 and to bear interest at the rate. of 4.2 per cettt which motion upon vote resulted as follows: Ayes.: Councilmen Taylor, Bell, Keck, Gallagher and Vs,_ Houtenc Noes• Nona Absent• None.
