The weei~ly report of the Police Department was then prese~~ted to
the council and en motion duly made and carried, was approved and ordered
filed. The clerk then read.the.Treasurer's monthly report showing the
balances in the various-City's funds as of Feb. 1st which report on motion
duly made and carried, was approved and ordered filed,
Gouncilmam J. P. Van Houton who failed to respond to-the roIDl call
then appeared and took his chair:
The clerk then read a communication from City httorney Beat to
Council regarding the Brennecke dog situation.
Whereupon it was duly moved and carried that said .communication be
filed for future reference:
The clerk then read a ccmmunication addressed to the Council from
a committee of the Grammer School P:T.A: in which they requested of council
their cooperation by arranging with_the County Dairy Inspector for a test.
of the milk from the dairies supplying the school for a bacterial-count.
Upon motion of couneilmorr Boll. e.nd seccnded by Councilman Van
Houton, and sn vote-carried-the matter was referred to the City Health
' Officer for his attention:
The written report of City Engineer GrAham on the proposed m-
provement of Sumner Avenue between-Riley and Spring Street c~ith pavement
and a bridge crossing the lake outlet was.then presented $b the c:cunctil
Whereupon after consideration of said. report it-was moved by
Councilman Taylor and seconded by Councilman Bell that the matter be
referred back to the Engineer with instructions that he craate'e larger
proposed district to help bear the-cost of; the bridge and. to-submit same to
council at their next regular_meeting, which motion carried by the following
vote: '
-Ayes: Councilmen Taylor, yell, Keck, Gallagher and Van Houton.

moved by Councilman Taylor and seconded by Ceunci.lman B'e11 that Council make
