PAT.O F MINV C A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Elsinore was held on the .above date.. The meeting was called to order at the hour of ~ p. m. witih Idayor A. G.,Keek in_ the chair... Councilmen H. Gallagher, L. A. F. Iaaes, H. C. Langstaff, and~A. G. Keck answered-the roll call. _ Absent: None. i TSnutes of the p$evious meeting held on Puay 20th were then read by , the Clerk and on motion duly made and carried mere apprcved as r©ad. + The Bldg. Sup-t's monthly report for the month of Pday was then pre- sented to Council and on motion duly made and carried was, accepted and ordered Placed-on file. j 11^he>Clerk then presented ao Council Resolution n212 being a Resolu- tion providing fora 20.00 per month increase in the Recorders salary in line of and subject to 20.00 per month received from the County of Ri¢erside for rent for the Justice Ccunrt. whereupon it eras moved by Ccuncilraan Langstaff and seconded by Coun- cil.man ndaes that Resolution 212 be passsd and adopted cah'ich motion was carried ,by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Gallagher, Langstaff, Pdaes and Keck. Best in ans~;er to ( inquiry concerning the liability of the City to pay Bonds issued under the terms of the Idattoon Act, in which he advised. that the City is under no legal obliga- tion to pay the Bonds, and that sakne vJOU1d be payable exclusively out of the District Improvement fund arovided by 'the levy of a. special tax assessment upon the lands. in the district. After some discussion on the matter it Foos laid over for further consideration. 1 i The hour of 7:30 p. m. having arrived being,the•time fixed for hearing of protests to the assessment rolls filed for the Improvement of Kellogg St. and also East Grahank Ave. and other streets, the Clerk reporting to Council that } no u~aitten protests had been filed. f aJhereupon the Diagrams, and assessments were presented to the Council for ti7eir approval and confiEmation and after being duly-checked by Council. Resolution ;yt215 was then presented 'to Council being a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elsinore determining and declaring that the public interest and necessity demand the acquisition, construction and com- ple ticn by the said City of a cer~aiit iolunicipal Lmprou^zmetitntocvit i',!Tha - to • Construction of Additions to the present Sewer Sys-tort, including sewer mains and all appurtenances thereto."• whereupon it was rsoved by Councilman I'>laes and seconded by Councilman -- Langstaff that Resolution X215 be passed and adopted }~hich motion was carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Gallagher, Langstaff; 1Jlaes and Keck. Absent: None. - Thereupon Ordinance y1200 i=ras introduced and read being an Ordinance of the City of Elsinore calling and providing for the hokding of a Special ' Election to be held in the City of Elsinore on the 2nd day of July, 1929 a.nd submitting to the qualified voters of se.id City a certain proposition for the incurring of bonded indebtedness for the acquisition construction and completion of a certain municipal improvement; totvit: "The construction and • -^comaletion of additions-to the present eeurer systen`includi.ng sewer mains and all appurtenances theretto." Boyle be 'authorized to have tvro'lii°e saving drags made for use of the Fire Dept. vihich rnotibn'upon voto' vras carried.
