A regularmeeting of the City Council of the City of misinore was held on the above
date. 'fhe meeting was called to order at the hour of '] p. m, with Rfayor A. G. Keck in the
Chair, Councilmen H, Gallagher, H. G, Langstaff i~?. H. '•"~esner and P.. G. Keck answered the.
roll call.
Absent: Councilman L, A, I•, #~vaes,
Piinutes of the previous reeeting held on Lroril 8th were then read by theC%Clerk %
and on motion dul}~ made and carried were approved as read, ,~
Council then tools up for consideration the matter of reinsuring the City's Po~.ice
Car and after checking the statement of rates submitted by the Automobile Club of So. Calif,
it uuas moved by Councilman ~+Jasner• and seconded by Councilman Langstaff that the lerk be in-
structed to place insurance on the Police Car with the Autc Club of So. Calid. tS cover
Fire and Theft and Public Liability only, which motion was carried by the following vote:

The Clerk than presented to Council a contract submitted by the So. Sierras i'orrer
Co, for execution to cover power connection for motor on nest fire sir an and upon consider-
ation of same it was moved by Councilman Gallagher and seconded by Councilman Langstaff that
the Chair appoint a Committee to interview the proper officers of the So. Sierras Pourer Co,
wit'r. the view of securing a more equitable rate for this service, which motion upon vote
was carried.
The Chair appointed Councilman I'=ass axed Langstaff -to serve upon i;his Committee,
A communication to Council from -~ngineer P, H. Albright of Los :Angeles calling
at-tcntion io the notice of sale ofoabout 2800 acres of the bed of Lake Elsinore and recomme;nd-
irg that the City file a bid for ®Ame-~~ :;then presented to Council.

C::i•y Engineer Graham then reported to Council on his investigaticn on the sewer
nit. located on Flint St. and subroit-ted a diagram showing the exact location of setae which
revealed that about -three or four feet of the pit eras on Lo'c 2 Bik, 85 privately ocmed.

Ordinance X199 eras then presented to Council on first reading. being an Ordinance
prohibiting the 'reeping of roosters and male geese, ducks, turkeys and guineas within the
City of Elsinore,
J, R, Scott -thcr, addressed Council pretesting to the passage of said Grdnanco and
and upon consideration and. a general discussion of the matter it eras moved by Councilman
Langstaff a.nd seconded by Councilman ^desnc-r that said Grd. ~~199 be laid on the table which
motion was carried by the follovring vote:
Ayes: Councilmen 1'Jesner, Langstaff, and Keck.
Noes: Councilman Gallagher.
Absent: Councilman Ilaes,
The Clerk then presented to Council on first reading an Ordinance prohibiting
the establishment of Camr Grounds in zones Gne and Two of the City cf Elsinore said Ordinance

ons Club Gonmtittees reported on plans laid and vrork done and. recommended that
the outer galls of the band stand_.n the City;Pari; be repaired.

The chair then in -the absencs of Counc?lrnan P+faes appointed Council-
man Langstaff to serve on the auditing Sommit'bee.

Council and on motion .duly made and on,cal2 vote carried ~rere ordered paid and
the Clerk 4~as instructed to issue r~arrants in payment of same.
Thereupon there being no~further business to come beforo Council on
