City Engineer Graham-then appeared before Council and requested that
he be allowed a payment of 100.00 to pe applied on the balance due him.

Whereupon it'was moved by Councilman Piills and eeconded by Council-
man Langstaff that the City Engineer be allowed 9 payment of X100.00 on
contract, which motion upon vote was carried.
A committee from the American Legion then appeared before Council
and solicited a donation to a fund to be used for the expense of
bringing to Elsinore on Dec. 13th and 14th the Canadian•Society Picnic and
Reunion.
-R'hereupon it was moved by Councilman Puills and seconded by Councilman
Langstaff that it be authorized to donate X25.00 to the American Legion,
Sponsors for the Canadian Society Picnic-.and reunion to be held in Elsinore
'on Dec..l3th and 14th, vrhich motion upon vote was carried.
City Engineer Graham then called to Councils attention that no
provision was made in the sexier'plans for the installation of connection
risers from the trunk line on Riley St. a.nd because of the depth of the
line, recommended that it be done at this time while the ditch was cpen,
to save future expense,
`~?hereupon it was moved by Councilman-Langstaff and-eeconded by
Councilman Rice that the City Engineer be authorized to instruct the
-contractor to install 5 connection risera -from the trunk lime sewer on
Riley St, between Graham Ave, and Pdttery St., which motion upon vote
was carried.
Council then took up for ccnsideration the matter of reducing the
salary of the Bldg. Inspector.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman 1;fiills and seconded by Councilman
Langstaff that the Oitg Attorney be instructed to prepare an Ordinance
amending Section 11 of Ordinance 201 to provide a change in the salary of
the Bldg.' Supt. from ~k40.00 per rlonth to X15.00 per month which motion
upon vote was carried.
Bills as audited by the auditing committee sere then presented to
Council and on motion duly made and on call vote carried were ordered
paid and the Clerk was instructed to issue warrants in payment of same.
Thereupon there being no further business tc come before Council, on
motion duly made and carried Council adjourned to meet in regular
session on Il~onday, Oct. 27th, at the hour of ~• o'clock P.M, in the
City Hall the usual meeting place.
