The meeting was called to order at the hour of 7 o'clock p.m. with Mayor A. C . Keck in the chair. Councilmen H. Gallagher, H. O. Langstaff, C. S. Merrifield, and A. G. Keck answered the roll calla Absent: Councilman A.. S.. Burnham. Minutes of the previous meeting held on Dec: 30th were then read by the_Clerk and on motion duly made and carried were approved as read. _ The Building Superintendent's montklg report for the month of December and annual report for the. year 1929 ,were then presented to Council and on motion duly made and carried, were accepted and ordered placed on file. The City Treasurer's ffionthly report was then presented to the Council and on motion duly made and carried, was accepted and ordered placed on file. The• clerl: then: presented. to Gouhcl Mi. Geo: Peterson's appl5c anon for the;positian pf City Park eaxetaker at a salary of X12.50 during the winter months and $25.00 per month during the balance of the year. . Vhereupon it was moved by Councilman Langstaff and seconded by Council- man Gallagher that the application of Mr". Peterson be received and ordered placed oh file-For future consideration, which motion upon vote was carried. Council then took up for consideration the matter of enforcement of the City License Ordinance against all who are delincuent in the payment of their license fees and also considered a proposed change in the ordinance to provide that all Building Contractors` license shall be due and payable anS nasally.instead of quarterly.- _ !Nhereupon after due consideration of the matter it was moved by Coun- cilman Gallagher and secoxrled,by Counciln=an Langstaff that the City Clerk be instructed to enforce-collection of all delinquent licenses and that change in ordinance regarding annual payment of Contractors'- license be deferred until all were-paid up to date ovhich motion upon vote was carried. In, the absence of Councilman Burnham of the Auditing Committee, the chair appointed Councilman Langstaff to audit bills. ..Bills as audited by the Auditing Committee were then presented to Council and on motion duly made and on c~:.ll vote carried. were ordered paid and the C1erY, was instructed to issue warrants in payment cf same. Thereupon there being no further business to come before Council, on motion duly ,made and carried, Council adjourned to meet in regular session on Monday Jan. 27th, at the hour of `/ o'clock p.m, in the City Hall the usual meeting place. • ~_ erk. ~ r X_~~R .
