Ths Bldg Supt's monthly report for .the month of D}ov. Maras then presnted to Council a.nd on motion dvly.made and :carried vvas.accepted and orderd placed on file. ±~hereupon the Treasurers nzon'thly report. i+aas presented 'to Council aild oh motion duly made and carri;:=.d vra.s`accepted a.nd orderd placed on .file.; The Clerk then presented to Council a cora:nunication from City Attorney Eugene Best with reference to the -provision of the lauu regarding the require- ment to change the name of a city and the enclosed copy of the act relating tc ; said matter ~a~as read by 'the Clark. VJhe-reupon it ;~~s duly moved and carried that said conmu;nication be re- - ceived`and ordered placed on file. Thereupon the Clcrlc pres.>.nted to Council a cornrnunicati.on adr°ssed to Councilman Gallagher, from Earl Engberg manager of the So. Sierras Por=ar Co, reporting on the condition of the time clock and street lights in the Cousitry G1ub Heights addition. Y3heroupon after Councils consideration of tiie matter it eras agreed that . th'e matter be reforred to th.e Chief of Police *rith instructions that he replace. all burned out lamps and broken shades. Council then took up for consideration t1_~e matter of enlarging the.oid Ety ti~rater reservoir, City Engineor D.R. Crane submitting Plans and specifi- cations of the proposed improvoinsnt for Councils consideration and app rova.l. 7hareupon it was moved by Councilman H, Gallagher, and seconded by Councilman Iiior-tcn that it be aut'ro-rized thai -the Council undertake at this time to inersQSe the capacity of the old water reservoir bs_! t'r_e construction of a six foot ccncrete ~raall addition-to same, ~~?rich motion upon izote ^ras una.nsmonsly carried: Thereupon i•t vras moved by Co,ancilnra.n Gallagher scud seconded by Councilman Sheane that the Plans and Specifications submitted by City Eilgineier Crane cover- ing the prroposed improver.lent cf the old city ~~rater reservoir be approved and accepted ~arhich motion upon vote ~,ras unanimously ca.rrie.d.
