A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Elsinor t-ras held"on

Councilmen: H. Gallagher, O.B.: Sheave, S.P4. Rice and C.A. Lovejoy ans-

Absent: Councilman: Geo. H, &orton+J.r.
ILinutes of the previous meeting held on Sept. 14-th, erase 'then read by the
Clerk, and there being no co-rrsctions or omissions +~_°s approved a.s raced,
The Clerk then presented-to Council e< co±yau=?ication from the Riverside
County Ghamber of Commerce calling attention .to an illustrated talk on Con-
servation of our natural resourc=,•s, to be-delivered by-G.G. Duntvoody Staff

1'fhereupon it v~a.s duly moved and carried that said communication be re-
ceived and ordered placed on file.
Th.e Committee on Streets then reported that 'they have been informed that
the,_Stat~;High+rray Dept would clean Pda.in St, ever, two t+leeks and a; ter soma dis-
cussiom en the matter, it eras agreed that It4ain St, business district should be
cleaned at le=:st once avery vreek,

Gallagher that the Clerlc be instructed to communicate frith IVIr. Sullivan State
Highway District Supt. and ascertain from him it it is not possible to hava the

motion upon vote was carried.
Councilman Gallagher then reported that to date no report has been re-
ceived on the test made on the pumps at the City dater Plant..
'Nhereupon it d~as moved by Councilman Gallagher and .seconded by Council-
man Shc:~ane, tizat tiio Clerk be instructed to emi-te to Titr. lpperson raprasentativa
of the Western Gas Engineer Co and request that a report of the test made on t'_~e
pumps at the City 9'Jater Plant be for+„=arded to .the City, which meticn upon vote ti+.=as
carried,
The N~ayor than called to Councils attention that the final installment
on Fire Engina contract v,as due for payment an3 suggested that those who con-
tributed to the Fire Engine Fund for the initial payment and L•;ho made it possible
for the City to purchase tfiis Fire Eouiprnent at that time be inforrncd that t'_ne

wheraupon it •:.=a.s moved by Councilman Gallagher and seconded by Council-
man Sheave, that the Clerk be instructed to +rrite to those ~;ho contributed to the
Fire Engine Fund and inform them that the Fire Engine was now fully paid for and to
express to them on behalf of Council their thanks and appreciation for their finanp~
ial support and assistance in 'the matter which motion upon vote eras unanimously
carried,

Bills as audited By the auditing cormuittee:were th~npresented.to.Council and
on motion duly-made a:nd on call vote. carried were orderad paid and the Clark t;as
instructed to issue vrarrants in pajrgant of same.
