The meeting iFras called to o der at the hour of 7 o`clock F.Ivh with Niayor C.A. Lovejoy in the chair. Councilmen: H. Gallagher, O.B. Sheane, S.Pd. Rice, Geo. H. Pdorton Jr, and C.A. Upon personal application by the management of the Lakeview Hotel for a perrnii: to continue a dance to l o`clock A.Tui. on Sat. Aug. 15ti~, to be given at the hotel for the entartainrnent cf.the':cadets from P.4archfield it was moved by Councilman Gallagher and seconded byCouncilrnan Rice that a special permit be granted to the Lakeview Hotel to continua a dance till 1 o'clock A.P:, on Sat. Aug. 15th, ,which motion uon vote vvas ca.-rried. Council than took up for further consideration ;the report submitted. by the Automobile Club of So. Ceunci]:man Gallagher then broughr~, up for Councils consideration the matter of increasing the size and capacity of the old v;ater reservoir and expressed himself as favoring. the ecnstruction of a four or file square zaall and floor around the old reservoi„ stating that this work can be done at a nominal cost aizd will almost double the: present capacity, After.
