I,icDonold-recently improved vaith a-drinking fountain and bldg vans being flooded. Upon Councils •cortisider~ation of: the matter it [vas..raoved by Councilman Gallagher and seconded by Counci]rnan Morton that th.~ Street Committee 'be authorized to make necessary provision for proper street drainage at tl~e corner. of- Riley St and.~eald Ave v,nich<motioin upon ~{ote eras unanimously carried. - The chair then brought up for Councils consid..~ratioiz the ,matter=of_street tree planting stating that 'this nas the t-irne of ysar for planting trees:;: a_nd suggested that trees, nreferabls.flowering acacias be'ple.n'L'ed along ftileg Street be'tvJeen Grc-.ham a.nd Heald Ave's. Upon Suggestion;tha-c. he City of San Diago could poesibley furnis'rr us vrith trees aanted ea a moniinal cosy -it ~rra.s moved by Councilman P!rorton .and seconded. by Councilman Rice, that the Clerk be instructed to conrav:nicate with the Supt's of Parks of the..City of San-Jiaga end ascertain if they car..furnish_us n~ith flo~rrering acacia' trees and submit -price on same.
